The company designs and builds race and production automobiles of light weight and high handling characteristics. The logo of Lotus Cars features the abstracted shape of a lotus on the oval light yellow plane, with the word “LOTUS” and four overlapped English letters “A.C.B.C”, which stands for the name of its founder A.C.B.CHAPMAN.
